Start of the 2025 mineral year in Tucson
Feb 10, 2025
Once again, a fantastic stay in Tucson came to an end for the Hardrock Summit team. Many thanks to all the exhibitors, collectors and dealers who make Tucson a unique and global meeting place for the mineral world year after year. Special thanks also go to the respective organizers of the countless shows and events.
But the Hardrock Summit itself has also contributed to an unforgettable atmosphere in Tucson: Together with the Munich Show, Hardrock Summit organized the Open House Party in Mineral City with two events to celebrate the start of the new mineral year. The joint Bavarian Night at the Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery was another highlight.
It was a great pleasure to meet old acquaintances as well as new partners. The inspiring conversations and special discoveries - from the complete T-Rex skeleton to spectacular fluorites and the purest Paraiba tourmalines - will remain in the memories of everyone involved.
Open House Party at the Mineral City Tucson
To kick off the new mineral year 2025, the Munich Show and Hardrock Summit teams hosted an open house party at Mineral City in Tucson. At “The Stope”, our guests enjoyed a convivial evening with Bavarian beer, bratwurst and a great atmosphere. It was the perfect opportunity for the entire community to network and have a great start to the mineral shows in Tucson.
A highlight of the evening was our popular wheel of fortune, where many guests won fantastic prizes - such as a “Munich Show” beer mug or the exciting themed book on the last special exhibition “The Impossible Crystal”.
Bavarian Night at the Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery
The joint evening of the Hardrock Summit and the Munich Show was a complete success - our thanks go to everyone who attended this Bavarian Night! The evening was filled with good cheer, Bavarian food and beer, but most of all great music from a German band from Tucson. Our wheel of fortune was very gracious and produced a lot of lucky winners. The opportunity to network with mineral enthusiasts from all over the world made the evening a real highlight.
A big thank you goes out to the Tucson Fine Mineral Gallery for hosting our party together.
