Family & Kids Activities

We are a family-friendly show with educational organizations and member clubs providing hands-on learning experiences and information for kids and adults, gold panning demonstrations, fossil dig, and “Mr. Bones” various walking dinosaurs roaming the patio area. The DGMS club tables and educational area will be located in a large tent on the patio adjacent to the hotel. Educational organizations participating this year so far include Dinosaur Ridge, Foothills Prospectors, and Minerals Education Coalition.
